SUMMARY:Masterclass: Leadership and Management
DESCRIPTION:Leadership and management get used interchangeably all the time
  in general practice - but they're not the same skill\, and confusing the 
 two is one of the most common reasons teams underperform or feel unsupport
 ed. This Masterclass helps you understand the distinction clearly\, and bu
 ild confidence in both.\nWe'll start by separating the two out properly: m
 anagement as the practical\, structured side of getting things done - proc
 esses\, performance\, resources\, delivery - and leadership as the people 
 side - direction\, motivation\, trust\, and culture. We'll look at why pra
 ctices and PCNs need both\, why one without the other causes real problems
 \, and where you might be naturally stronger so you know what to actively 
 develop. From there\, we'll cover practical tools for effective management
 \, including delegation\, accountability\, and performance conversations\,
  alongside practical approaches to effective leadership\, including buildi
 ng trust\, communicating vision\, and leading through change.\nYou'll leav
 e with a clearer sense of your own style\, practical techniques for both l
 eading and managing well\, and the confidence to flex between the two depe
 nding on what your team needs.\n&nbsp\;\n\nCourse Format\n\nThis course wi
 ll be delivered via Microsoft Teams. You’ll receive your joining link a 
 few days before the session. Each course runs with 3–12 delegates to sup
 port active participation and small-group discussion.\n\nPlease install Mi
 crosoft Teams on your own device before the course (rather than sharing a 
 device with colleagues). As our sessions are fully interactive\, please en
 sure your camera is switched on\, and that your microphone and speakers ar
