Understanding Integrated Neighbourhood Teams

Wednesday 23 October 13:00 – 14:30

The Fuller Review states: “Integrated neighbourhood ‘teams of teams’ need to evolve from primary care networks (PCNs) and be rooted in a sense of shared ownership for improving the health and wellbeing of the population”.

So that’s PCN teams, wider primary care providers, secondary and social care teams plus other health and social care partners such as domiciliary care and the voluntary sector, all working together to form MDTs that can improve the health and wellbeing of their patient population together.

So what are the key things needed to get started with setting up INT’s? Join our Masterclass where we will cover the key building blocks to setting up your INT including:

  • Knowing your patient population.
  • Developing relationships and partnerships with your stakeholders.
  • Clinical leadership and capacity to lead.
  • Having the right managerial team to support INT leadership.
  • Time and headspace.
  • Knowing what services are available within the neighbourhood and seeing how they all fit in together.

Thinking and working differently to support patients and the wider community to deliver improved patient care.

Understanding what you need to set up your private clinic

Setting up a private clinic requires careful planning and a clear understanding of your goals and market. Here’s a guide to help you get started:

YOUR VISION

Define your vision by setting short, medium, and long-term goals. Determine what you need to achieve these objectives and outline a clear path forward.

YOUR VALUE PROPOSITION

Understand what a value proposition is and how it applies to your clinic. Identify who your patients are, how your services will help them, and what sets your clinic apart in a potentially crowded market.

FINANCE PLAN AND BUSINESS PLAN

Create a comprehensive finance and business plan. Identify your target patients, how you will market your services to them, and which communication channels you will use. Outline your products and services, their costs, and the resources needed to establish and run your clinic.

COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

Conduct a thorough competitor analysis. Understand where you stand in the market, assess your competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, and develop strategies to compete effectively.

BUILDING A BUDGET

While we are not accountants, we can assist in creating a robust budget for your clinic to ensure profitability.

CLINIC GOVERNANCE

We can help with all aspects of clinic governance, including CQC registration, Ofsted registration, policies and procedures, indemnity, risk assessments, and any other requirements to get your clinic operational.
